TAPE 1
Side One - approximately 20 mins
Introduction to basic relaxation skill of breathing into the diaphragm.
Leading into instructions for progressive muscle relaxation. Learning
difference between physical feeling of tension and being relaxed.
Side Two - approximately 20 mins
Can be used for relaxation or sleep. Progressive relaxation using thought
processes only, learning to change how your body feels.

TAPE 2
Side One - approximately 20 mins
Visualisation, going into positive memories, using these as a resource
on which you can always draw when needed.
Side Two - approximately 20 mins
Visualisation reinforcing feelings of hope and leaving the practitioner
feeling alert and active.

TAPE 3
Side One - approximately 30 mins
First 15 mins induction into deep relaxation, physical and emotional
, followed by Oscar Wilde story "The Selfish Giant" accompanied by
specially composed music.
Side Two
Music only.
The three tapes are a progression in learning relaxation
technique, but can be used individually.
